Bankroll Skyrocket - $10 to $2000 in 24hours
Let me tell you a Story of Luck and a little Skill
I’ve always been a believer and attempter of bankroll management. My difficulty seems to be that bankroll management and TILT are often not well mixed, like prescription meds and alcohol. I will later discuss my bankroll beliefs but for now to tell you about my intense bankroll building that I accomplished on Friday August 22.
I had recently cashed out my bankroll on Full Tilt

I was just thinking of my worst poker memory from my own game and it just took me on a mental rollercoaster ride from one bad event to the next. Why did I take this mental ride – I don’t know – it’s not making any sense. It’s not like the ride is expected to lift my spirits – but actually it did - some of the moments were quite fun when I recall the memories.
So which one was the worst? It’s not easy because you have to take many circumstances into considerations – the sum

Why do I like playing poker? Why do I spend several hours each week gazing into a computer screen watching 2 cards being dealt to me and 5 cards being dealt on the table over and over again? Why do I bother keeping detailed records of session times, rebuys and net profits? Why do the 37$ I won during a session yesterday mean more to me than the 200$ I could earn sports-betting in half the time?
I already know the game and most of its aspects after 4 years of online poker, and I'm really not that

In the series of articles describing necessary skills required for good Bankroll Management at PokerBankrollBlog.com the personal skill – motivation – will be the next skill I will go into depth with. For you to know what I refer to when I say motivation a definition of motivation is necessary:
.....inner state of desire or need. That desire or need creates a movement or activity towards satisfying that desire…
So actually it is based on an internal drive or need that is already there –

Poker and life....my toughest subject to write about to date on the Poker Bankroll Blog. Since I am suffering from a complete lack of inspiration on what to write about "Poker and Life", most likely because a title of that caliber demands some deep philosophical considerations, I think I will start in a small corner of the topic at hand and share some of my thoughts and experiences on how to combine poker and having a girlfriend. Perhaps some deeper thoughts on poker and life will emerge.....we

Ladbrokespoker.com is to set to join the Microgaming Poker Network to ensure more action for its players in tournaments and certain cash games.
Ladbrokespoker.com already licenses Microgaming's poker software, so Ladbrokes' customers will notice little change to the site when it begins operating within the Microgaming Poker Network from early 2009.
Commenting on the move John O'Reilly, Managing Director, Ladbrokes Remote Betting and Gaming said:
"Joining the Microgaming network will give

This is the final post in a series of 3 posts covering the top 11 bad poker habits belonging to your PokerBRB team.
9. Unintentionally signing up to fixed limit or Omaha tournaments
This just really sucks; fortunately it happens less frequently to me now compared to when I first started playing poker. In the beginning it is easy to get confused in the poker lobby so you will probably also repeat my mistakes. Don’t worry after a few mistaken signups you will learn to pay more attention.

How bad can it get when playing online poker? If you ask Gus Hansen some days do not bring in bread and butter.
Gus was playing 15.5 hours straight at a Full Tilt Table, and stopped after losing a total of $796.000. The game played was Limit Omaha Hi/Lo with $2000/$4000 limits. Gus played a total of 1168 hands.
Patrick Antonius took a great deal of the winnings by going plus $476.000 over 674 hands.
Is the lesson that you should stop playing when you are on a losing steak? No, you should
