Phil Ivey has been the massive favorite to take the 2009 WSOP main event title despite entering the November 9 final table short stacked

Antoine Saout is the “moral winner” of the WSOP, as Phil Hellmuth has stated. Antoine deserved to win.

Joe Cada won the heads-up against Darvin Moon thus becoming the youngest player ever to win the WSOP main event.
