We have big prizes in January’s PokerBRB freeroll and tournament league competition.
This month Sun Poker has joined our league and will be hosting a 125$ freeroll final as well as 3 25$ freerolls during the month. We also have identical freeroll programs on Power Poker and Poker Nordica.
This month we have also teamed up with the skilled people behind GrinderSchool (check out my recent review of GrinderSchool); the best online poker schools for low stakes players.
We are therefore able to give out a one month free GrinderSchool.com membership to the player who finishes in 1st place on our leaderboard in January.

We have decided to pay tribute to a living poker legend by having the PokerBRB freeroll and tournament league host the PokerBRB Brunson Tribute 50$ freeroll on Full Tilt Poker the 11th of December 2009 14 EST.
Doyle F. Brunson has been playing professional poker for more than 50 years and has seen it all in his great career. Doyle Brunson was the first player ever to win 1 million $ in poker tournaments and has won 10 WSOP bracelets including two WSOP Main Events in 1976 and 1977.

To celebrate the recent crowning of the new WSOP 2009 champion the PokerBRB freeroll and tournament league has decided to host a PokerBRB Eastgate Tribute 50$ freeroll on Full Tilt Poker the 20th of November 2009 (we know Joe Cada won this year but we really enjoyed Eastgate’s win last year).

The PokerBRB leaderboard concept

The PokerBRB leaderboard concept is simple. If you finish in the money (ITM) in our selected monthly freerolls and tournaments you automatically receive points for our leaderboard. The more ITM finishes you achieve, the more leaderboard points you will receive.
At the end of each competition month the top 20 players on the PokerBRB leaderboard will receive exclusive entry tickets to ALL our monthly finals.
If you for some reason for example only play our tournaments on Poker Nordica, but do well enough in them to finish in the top 20 of our leaderboard, you will receive a ticket for our Poker Nordica montly final as well as all the other finals we have arranged on other poker sites.
Of course we can only issue tickets to players who have a registered account on the poker site in question. Therefore, if you are good enough to achieve a top 20 leaderboard finish, make sure to register an account on all the poker sites who host our monthly finals. This way you will get full value for your efforts.

The PokerBRB monthly poker freeroll and tournament league competition draws to an end.

October has been a great month for our poker freeroll and tournament league with a 100%+ increase in membership numbers. We now have 143 members who in total have won 238$ in prize money.
It is still possible to make our leaderboard and earn a ticket to our two 125$ monthly finals at Poker Nordica and Power Poker. We have two buyin tournaments left this week, namely the 6$ buyin 18GT 2000$ guaranteed tournament on Power Poker the 21st of October and the 2$ buyin 19 GMT tournament on Poker Nordica the 22nd of October.
We look forward to seeing you at the tables in November’s PokerBRB monthly poker freeroll and tournament league competition at which time we will also have made some cool changes to the PokerBRB site.

The PokerBRB October freeroll competition starts September 30th
We have a great line-up of tournaments and freerolls giving points to the PokerBRB leaderboard.
In October’s freeroll competition the top 20 on the leaderboard after the last tournament has been played will be invited to join two 125$ exclusive monthly finals.
Practical information
- Freeroll passwords can be found in the tournament table when you log in to your “My league profile page” through the PokerBRB front page.
- You will need a poker account both at Poker Nordica and Power Poker this month if you want your tournament results to count towards the leaderboard.
- Remember that we need your exact Poker Nordica and Power Poker usernames on file in order to calculate your points.
- The tournament starting times on the league overview page are stated in both EST (Eastern Standard Time) and GMT (Greenwich Mean time). Click here to learn more about EST and GMT times.

The concept
PokerBRB is all about having fun competing against each other in poker freerolls. We believe these freerolls could be even more fun if different forums were compete against each other. We have therefore teamed up with Poker Nordica to be able to host a forum freeroll stand off.
What’s in it for you?

More details
The competition will be open to 5 forums and consist of a qualifier tournament and a final as illustrated below:
Prior to the qualifier, each forum webmaster sends us a list of their top 10 poker talents (of course more people can join from each forum…we have limited the list to 10 players to keep the scoring as simple as possible).
We will score each participant in the qualifier using the PokerBRB point system and then sum up which two forums have made the most points based on the positions their chosen 10 players achieved.
The two forums with the most points each choose 10 players to represent their respective forum in the final and provide us with a list of the player’s usernames at Poker Nordica. We will leave it up to the individual forum webmasters to set-up criteria for selecting the 10 finalists.
Each of the 20 players will receive a coupon to enter the final. The winner of the final will receive 30$ paid into his/her Poker Nordica account and his/her forum will be crowned the overall forum champion. Each of the remaining players on the winning team will receive 10$ paid into their Poker Nordica account.
The PokerBRB freeroll league forum will participate with our own team in the qualifier and we have set a maximum of 5 participating forums for our first competition, so if you’re interested please let us know at support@pokerbrb.com as soon as possible so we can start planning. We already have one participating forum namely Clubcaptain.

The PokerBRB Freeroll League will kick off this weekend

I am very happy to announce that the PokerBRB Freeroll League will start up it’s first monthly competition tomorrow Saturday 22nd of August.
The freerolls and tournaments counting towards the leaderboard can be found on the PokerBRB League Overview page. Currently only the freerolls have been added but during the next couple of days we will add six (6) 2$ freezeout No limit Hold’em tournaments to the schedule as well.
The goal of the monthly competition is to gain as many points as possible in the 11 tournaments counting towards the leaderboard. You get points according to the PokerBRB Freeroll League Point system when you finish in the money. The top 20 players with most points after the 11 tournaments have been played will be invited to participate in the PokerBRB Freeroll League Monthly Final.
Our first monthly competition will be hosted exclusively on Poker Nordica. In later competitions we plan to add freerolls and tournaments from PowerPoker, PKR Poker, Full Tilt Poker and Titan Poker.

New sign-up system for the PokerBRB Freeroll League
We have made our system so that your freeroll and tournament points are automatically calculated and displayed on the PokerBRB webpage. However in order for this to work we need a correct username on file for the poker site hosting the tournaments and freerolls.
This means that you need to register a username at Poker Nordica in our system to participate in this month’s competition.
Username registration is done through the PokerBRB league sign-up page.
If you don’t already have an account at Poker Nordica you can sign up through the PokerBRB website and get a great rakeback and bonus deal.
